BOOK: Supercommincators by Charles Duhigg
Several years ago, I read The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg, and it is one of those books that has stuck with me. I loved it, and understanding how (and why) habits are formed has helped me eliminate some bad ones and develop some good ones.
I learned a lot from this book, too. It is packed with information you know (intuitively) and ways to improve your communication by adopting a different approach. If you have to talk to people (and we all do) I recommend this book.
AUDIOBOOK: Bring Up the Bodies - Wolf Hall Book 2 by Hilary Mantel
I don’t think I will ever get enough of the stories from the court of Henry VII. After finishing the TV version of this story with PBS Masterpiece’s Wolf Hall, I immediately turned to the book. (The series was recommended by my UK friend, Stuart.)
This is the second book of a trilogy and it is over 100,000 words, so it took me a while to get through it. I didn’t rush, because I already knew the story, but I loved the characters so much I didn’t want it to end. Fortunately, there is another monster-sized book in the trilogy.
